Ode to Odd Socks
Here’s to the socks that once were two,
Now solo in the laundry’s brew.
Oh, where does the other one go?
Lost in the washer’s mysterious flow.
Odd socks, the unmatched heroes of feet,
Brave the world with no defeat.
Sporting stripes with polka dots,
Colors faded, stretched in spots.
Yet, they march on, bold and proud,
In their uniqueness, unavowed.
An ode to those that stand alone,
In sock drawers, they’ve brightly shone.
Cheers to the single, the brave, the free,
Odd socks, you inspire me!
