NPM National Poetry Month

National Poetry Month is our host for “Around the World Scavenger Hunt”:

America: The Lune – An American form of Haiku created by Robert Kelly. A syllabic form consisting of 3 lines with a strict syllable count of 5/3/5. There is no rhyme and the subject matter is not restricted. I’d like to suggest a topic of nationalism (just a suggestion)

Flags ripple in rows,
Land vast,
Bound by shared dreams and woes.
